9.00 (very good) I don't really know what it is about the series by this group/artist/person but I find myself drawn to them. This series would be totally amazing if they'd added a little more romance to it, but *shrug* my favorite English voice actor does the main guy, so that also sways me a bit.

9.25 (very good) Manga > Anime [Rating is for Manga]
Manga:
good story/plot with nice character developments
Anime:
story kind of sucks, deviates from manga too much (in a bad way) and English voices suck to high heaven

9.00 (very good) Although this is mostly a filler series, when it does come and get to plot episodes, there is much demand and anticipation. The real plot (that at times is hidden by fillers) is very much in depth and has probably only been touched on the surface. There are still so many unanswered questions, and the ones that were answered just lead to more questions. We're rootin' for ya Shinichi~!

The fillers themselves, if watched all at once would get annoying; but if you watched them every-now-and-then you'll find that the series is very desirable and the fillers are still good as well (especially those that someone finds out his identity or comes really close).

Digimon Adventure

8.00 (good) This series always brings back memories from the childhood days of waking up early Saturday mornings to watch anime on TV. *sigh* Good ol' days.

Digimon has always held a part of my heart (but only for the adventure series one and two, anything beyond just screwed up too much). This is more of a children's series but I think can be enjoyed by anymore. It has comedy, action, and a good plot that is hard to resist sometimes. Either way, thinking about this is making me wanna rewatch xD

6.00 (average) If you haven't read the manga, the anime would probably seem like a good series. Don't get me wrong, it is, but it lacks the information the manga has. Tohru never picks a guy in the anime, the curse is never explained nor in detail the manga goes into. The only thing in its favor would be that the music is really good, and to a certain point it does follow the manga exactly. Although the ending isn't the same as the manga, it does show it ends.

9.00 (very good) Manga > Anime
Manga's ending is better, has a very deep emotion/personalities, and very very beautiful artwork.
Anime: you can actually listen to the songs, and the story itself isn't bad considering it basically follows the manga, but its has more of the "task per episode" type of story/feel.
Suggestion: watch the anime first followed by reading the manga (you'll be disappointed if you read first then watch)

9.50 (excellent) Brotherhood ending was amazing (simply because I'm a family-loving-ending-person). The whole brotherhood series was really good. Only thing I wish was that Ed was more 'special'. The series is about him (it's named after his state alch name) but he wasn't as main as he was in the other version I think. However!! He was still awesome in both and the brotherhood series was really well done and amazing to watch. Love the credits the most though, simply because of that one picture (you all know what I'm talkin' about) that made it awesome. ^-^

7.25 (above average) Manga.
Main characters get on my nerves a lot due to immature-ness and inability to do ANYTHING. Awesome eye-candy and the story is actually really good, if you can put up with the main character, the drama, and the major inter-misunderstandings.

Didn't feel the "grab" or the incentive to stay with this series for long. *shrug*
Artwork is good (as usual for this artist) and the story looks like it'd be interesting and worth it to some.

6.00 (average) Although the series captured a very realistic view on how humans both and would react, the waiting before decisions were made became extremely annoying by the third episode. You probably couldn't find an episode where there isn't indecisive pauses. Although it could be said it's realistic, it's also takes AWAY from the action and suspense. The "plot" was interesting and unusual compared to a lot of other animes, however it was lacking often if simply because they'd kill someone off just as you got to know them and you'd have to restart the learning the character process all over again. All in all, I won't ever re-watch it most likely.

Giniro no Kami no Agito

Seen: completely

Last Updated: Mar 08, 2011

7.00 (above average) It had a rather slow start and the characters were all hard to like because there wasn't much time developing them in anyway, even to get to know them. Agito's facination with Tula was a little fast and intense while Tula's choices just made her dislike-able. All other characters weren't worth remembering or mentioning. The ending was good and interesting, but the story itself could have gone much further than it did. It felt kind of lacking throughout except at the ending and wrap-up which was nice and cute ending.
