8.00 (good) Anime.
This series was pretty good if not abstract at times that made me wonder "is this a past episode or the current?" just because the way the narrative is, I personally had to stop and think of where on the time-line it too place.
Graphics were good, the plot for each episode was well done, and it was an interesting twist insight into a spy's life (kinda).

9.50 (excellent) I just seem to be a sucker for those animes where the main character pulls shit outta his ass hahaha~! But I also loved his character as well as the darkness that made him seem more real rather than just some awesome, unreal person. Little disappointed that not ALL of his past is cleared up in the anime... but then again, the good stuff is. Haha <3 Beautiful artwork too and I liked the plot.

9.25 (very good) I found this series to be fun, exciting, romantic, and just a tad bit crazy. I've read other works by this mangaka and I was rather surprised by how dark this one got at times. However, it makes a lot of sense that it wasn't going to be a walk in the part when it dealing with royalty and talked about early on how the queen, his mother, was abducted and killed. There's a lot of action due in this manga and not just romantic action but full out guns, mafia, fighting, etc. There is a good story and plot to go with it that the manga stays with throughout and brings to interesting points in the story. The romance is almost typical till it gets more "deep" in the sense of real. Both love each other but can't put any faith in the other's love and this drives them apart and to madness. However, they don't give up and when one does, the other doesn't. There is significant character development and a lot of lessons hidden here and there along with the more obvious ones. Over all the series will keep you interested and reading till you've gotten through it all. Then you'll want to go back for more.

8.00 (good) I have to say at first I thought there'd be little to no plot or a lot of fan service. But I was surprised that not only was there little fan service, but it was actually a serious anime and not just full of stupid episodes of filler. No, the series had a plot and a point it was trying to make the whole time. The characters and their developments were small (due to it being only 13 episodes) but they were very different from one another and remember-able. The ending was surprisingly well done and very good, but heart breaking all at the same time. This series really touched me and I think it could do the same for anyone who'd let it.

8.50 (very good) The anime is pretty good, but you can see an instant variation away from the manga and so it makes you wonder how true is the story to the manga line which is unfinished.

But that aside, judging it as a normal anime would I'd say it could've been longer. In a way the climax felt a little rushed at us especially since it'd just been building on the relationships right up to that point. It could've done better to have a bit more on that along with some of the real training and seeing Rin progress as he should've. He basically didn't really develop skill wise but just seemed to randomly get stronger with only one type of training which he used only once anyway. The battle development for him could've gone better by far and I honestly felt was lacking very much especially since they kept trying to emphasize that his power was hard to control, they could've worked better on that angle.

The idea behind the series though is knew and interesting as well as intriging. However, it too could've been played on a bit more and Rin could've struggle more in earning their trust like he is in the manga version. The plot otherwise felt a little cramped into a 25 episode series and, again, would've done better in a longer and more drawn out series. *shrug* oh well, it's done now.

Either way, the series was enjoyable and had a good balance of action and story to go with it. The character development wasn't really there too much, but the series wasn't focused on it but rather relationships and the typical fighting with badass scenes. A good series overall and still well worth it. <3

9.25 (very good) Though some don't count this as "real" anime, and it IS American made, this is surprisingly very very good. I personally spent my entire break of a week watching this all the way through (and it is by no means a short eries). There is a little bit of everything in this series that makes it so easy to be enjoyed by everyone. Although a lot think this series is for little kids and such, it honestly can be watched by anyone. I was 20 when I watched it for the first time and I still loved it. There are "hidden" elements that only a mature audience would pick up on, but safe enough for young kids to watch as well. There are loads of lessons to be learned seeing as the main character, Aang is only 12 and still learning all these lessons for himself. The action keeps the audience in there seats as this isn't just a running around and exploring but rather a dangerous adventure filled with fighting, defeat, conquest, romance, friendship, character developments, and fun. Like any long series there are "fillers" but the series DOES have a plot and a storyline that (espeically after the first season) needs to be followed in order to understand. Over all, I loved this series and think it's great for anyone that loves a little of everything.

So I've "known" about this series for a few years. I'd see images of it or something, but there was this feeling I had that told me NOT TO WATCH IT. And being lazy, I obeyed it... till recently. After watching episode one, you can easily tell how this series is going to be and how it's going to end. *sigh* It's really, really good. The artwork is amazing and the series IS good. Just... depressing.

Has a little bit deeper plot then it first appears, but the romance was lacking (if there at all) and the main guy "lost" too often. In a way they didn't make him awesome enough for me. *shrug* Still good series to check out if ya into vampires and something short.

8.50 (very good) Manga > Anime [Rating is for Manga]
Manga:
has more depth and growth in it especially with the relationships. Story/plot is complete and the bonds between everyone is made clearer; you learn more about each person (compared to the anime)
Anime:
doesn't have as many tight friendships or as much trust in partners; the relationships are lacking as well as the story(s) behind them. Story/plot is changed and twisted from the manga causing more confusion and disbelief than the manga (both have fantasy stuff, but the anime is a little far-fetched).
Awesome artwork for both.

I've always had a soft spot for underestimated main characters that come back and kick some awesome ass. Lots of eye-candy!
Beautiful artwork and plenty of action. Plot is well done (manga) and always keeping you wanting more (manga). Anime has too many fillers and deviated away from the manga too much.

Japanese audio only.
I love this series, and it very likeable. The bad guys aren't stupid and annoying, the heroes aren't over acting their part (if anything, they under act the hero by not overplaying their roll in saving thousands of lives). The main couple is cute but have enough complications that it isn't mushy or lovey-dovey to the point of annoyance. The only downside would be Momoji's constant changing emotions, although it can be dealt with, it can still be a tad annoying at times. (But I dun think she's as annoying in the Japanese...the English voice just grates on my nerves)

8.00 (good) The only reason I give this such a low scoring is because it cuts off in both the anime and the manga. Neither version of the series ever really completes or explains all the way through. However, the artwork is very well done, and the plot (up to the cut off) is actually very enticing and interesting.

Another type of gundam with the usual action, space, and mechas. Characters are interesting and vary a lot with some drama here-and-there but with the over all engaging.

Artwork is cute for both anime/manga. Each makes up for the "lack" in the other (the anime has good points that the manga doesn't, but the manga also has parts the anime doesn't). Together, they make a cute series with a decent story/plot.
